PITTSBURGH (FFD) - This is one of those Monday mornings I just can’t seem to get anything together. I try to get started but I’m all discombobulated. I want to put the top down on the jeep, for instance, but the f’n thing was jammed. It took me forever to think about when I’m going to be doing today, when it comes to my plans to lose weight.
Scratch tucks the shirt in
On the positive, I felt really good about getting dressed for work today. The clothes feel a lot better. I also feel more confident in my tucked in shirt. I think you get away with a little bit more with the shirt tucked in and I certainly work in environment where mostly an un-tucked shirt is fine. However, I think you look the most put together in a casual work environment when you tuck that shirt them. Maybe that’s just me. You look a little bit more professional.
Losing weight like a pro
Speaking of professional, I think I had a very professional attitude towards last week. I only lost 2 pounds, but that is nothing to shake a stick at. 2 pounds is really my ultimate goal and intermittent fasting is showing me the way.
Each day I take a strategic view of what I have in front of me and work my intermittent fasting calorie counting to get on with the day. I also get great exercise.
Getting the beer down
I did drink beer on five out of seven days last week, but I added the Closer Beer of Miller 64 to get those calories down a little bit. One of my challenges this week is going to be to get those beer days down. I can do much better than the five beer days I put up last week. I probably do only two beer days in one week—maybe even zero.
As we head into July there are certainly Lots of obstacles to weight loss. For instance, you have July 4th holiday coming up. That always means hot dogs and hamburgers and what have you. There will certainly be more summer picnics too and then next month doesn’t get any easier with a a family vacation. So I have to be very diligent in my approach.
Intermittent Fasting 20/4
I will continue to be vigilant on observing the intermittent fasting 20/4 protocol. It is working wonders for me.
What is most exciting, however, is that it is not unrealistic to think that I could reach my goal weight of 100 pounds by the end of the year. To do so, I have to average 10 pounds a month from now until December 2019. I can do that. It would seem so far it takes me about 2 to 3 weeks to get the weight down to the next weight range.
So while Monday started off slow, I am thinking of big things to come. Wish me luck.
