PITTSBURGH (FFD) - Yesterday was a punt day. I didn’t meet my goal but it wasn’t necessarily a bad day either. I missed the intermittent fasting 20/4 goal but easily did a 16/8 and my calories on the whole were not bad. I came in at around 1800 or so.
By the strictest of definition I lost, but I think I will make these kind of mixed days—punt days. Like I didn’t score but I don’t necessarily think I turned the ball over to the fat man either.
We had a nice picnic at home and my teenage daughter had her boyfriend over. Made some good grilled chicken wraps. It was a busy day in the yard and I certainly worked up a good sweat. Around five I found myself at the pool with my YETI mug filled for the first time with beer. Beer never tastes so good on hot summer sunny days. And so it was on this Saturday in May. Not a win, but not quite a loss. I’l take it, but will Coach.
