Scoring Update: Playing containment defense with Intermittent Fasting

Posted by Scratch

PITTSBURGH (FFD) - You ever wake up and know it is going to be crappy day? Right from the get go you are out of coffee, the kids miss the bus, something is not working right and the weather sucks. That is the kind of day I am having now.

The question is how do I defend against letting it be a really bad health day?

This Thursday morning it is rainy and gray and really crappy outside. The Internet is out at home too, so I’m using a very slow data connection on my phone to draft this posting.

Scratch scored a touchdown and extra point for successfully doing another 20 hour Intermittent Fast.

It seems like everything is in disarray and people are in a hurry. I’m dealing with the fall out of severe weather yesterday, which saw Pittsburgh receive tons of rain, and more dreary and depressing weather today.

I had a few beers yesterday at the Highland Bar which was good. I stopped and got fast food Chinese, which wasn’t good. Everything fell within the intermittent fasting window, however, but it certainly was one of those Days that was not conducive to building a health dynasty.

These are the days that are not conducive health.

On such day is the best advice I might have to share with anyone on their weight loss journey with intermittent fasting or whatever dieting protocol you are using, is to play containment defense.

This is the kind of day where my inner fat slob has the football and is going to try to run it down my throat.

On such days I just need to play containment and make sure I get that four hour window accomplished and meet my daily gameday objective. On a day like this, I’ll call my defense containment and be happy with it.
