Down to smallest size polo at DXL and then it's Kohl's next door

PITTSBURGH (FFD) - Monday constituted another day and yet another touchdown scored on The Football Fan’s Diet. I didn’t exercise, but I had relatively pleasing experience in my weight loss journey. I bought two new 2 XL polo shirts from the tall and fat store DXL.

This, my friend, is success on my weight loss journey as I continue to sequentially string up the OMAD (one meal a day) intermittent fasting Touchdowns. Below 2 XL, I have to walk over to Kohl’s just across the parking lot. What?

For years I would grab a shirt and pants from the rack at a Target, Kohl’s, JC Penny, wherever, only to be horrified about how the XL stuff felt. That’s can’t be me in that mirror? Who is that guy choking himself squeezing into those shirts and pants? Then they opened up a DXL and all was right with the world. It became easier to find cloths that fit.

I may not go to DXL much longer. Even to me, the clothes in the store are looking big—real big.

I will say one thing though about DXL. It is a good quality store and they they have everything in sizes above XL.

My tip to you today is that you are better off in finding a garment that fits right versus one you wish fit. Still, when the shirt no longer fits, you must acquit.
