Steelers win on Monday night and I continue on with Intermittent Fasting

By Scratch

PITTSBURGH (FFD) - Once again I scored a touchdown yesterday for meeting my DGO. I even had an apple and banana on the way to work.

I scored a touchdown because I limited my food to a 4 hour eating window. It was a bit more healthy than normal too as I had a salad to get started. Still, wings and beer at the local bar is not good, but it was Monday Night Football and my Steelers were playing.

I hit the gym after work, had a sensible dinner, and then sojourned to Hal’s for the first half of the Monday Night Football contest, which saw my Steelers over come the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I had a couple Sam Adam’s Oktoberfest brews. Okay, I had three of them. Not sure but I think there is easily over 200 calories in each one. I ordered wings to go, which I later shared with the family. Fried wings? Not the most healthy option.

I went to Club Julian and exercised. On my version of the Football Fan’s Diet, that earns me a field goal.

Steelers finally got the win, but I still think there is a lot of reason for concern. The defense is quite porous and they can’t cover anybody. Still, they got the win and the division is still winnable. Likewise, I stuck to the plan yesterday and scored a touchdown, but gave up the field goal for drinking beer.

However, I gave up a field goal because I had more than 2 beers.

I am getting by so far, but is that good enough? It is a rainy morning in Pittsburgh. It is the day after the Monday night game and I am wondering what I can do to take my health to a new level.

I’ll admit that I feel a bit sluggish today, yet it is early in the AM. The coffee has yet to kick in. Once that does, I need to do the same. My plan today is to be productive, hit the gym at night, and keep going.
